Dr. McKay
Dr. Joseph McKay is chiropractor who has over 16 years of experience serving patients in Hornell and the surrounding communities in Southern Tier of Upstate New York. Dr. McKay is a Hornell native, and a lifelong resident of the community.
Dr. McKay is licensed through the New York State Education Department’s office of Professionals as a Doctor of Chiropractic and is nationally board certified. He is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College, where he was an honors student and the recipient of both the Distinguished Service and Alumni Service Awards.
Dr. McKay highly values patient education and as a life-long-learner continues his own professional development to remain updated on best practices in chiropractic medicine. Dr. McKay looks to not only treat patient, but also educate them about their condition and how to manage their case through self-care. Additionally, Dr. McKay has been a faculty member for 3 Universities since 2008, and settled into a role at Alfred State College as a professor of Nutrition and Human Biological studies.
Personally Dr. McKay has many interests including fitness goals, and activities like distance running and body building.
Mostly, Dr. McKay enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa, and daughters, and always his large extended family all residing within the Hornell Area.
